Could you tell us a little bit about what you do?
I am currently the Senior Vice President of Marketing and eCommerce at Halo Dream Inc. My responsibilities include identifying target customers, defining product positioning, and evaluating how our products perform in the market. I work closely with the product team to drive commercialization and oversee all aspects of product development. Additionally, I manage the organization's eCommerce operations, including our presence on Amazon.
Can you briefly describe your role and your responsibilities during the engagement with TrieDatum?
In 2020, I was responsible for leading my team through the
design and launch of our company's first connected product in
the baby products category. Although I had prior experience
with baby products, I quickly identified significant
challenges that needed to be addressed before this launch. The
project was highly fragmented—one partner was managing
firmware; another the hardware, while another third party was
handling project management. Unfortunately, these efforts were
siloed, and there was no cohesive plan for cloud hosting or
data management. Additionally, communication challenges arose
due to a language barrier, as our primary partner was based in
China. This felt to be an uphill battle to get all the ducks
in a row.
